Scotia Series Coach, Person Responsible and Officials Safe Sport Standards

Across the country, at every level of every sport, participants expect a safe and positive environment.  In doing our part,  we have committed to implementing Safe Sport standards for coaches, persons responsible and officials at Scotia Series competitions.  These are in place to meet federal and provincial government requirements and most importantly, so that everyone has the right to feel safe and to participate in an accessible and inclusive sport environment.

All coaches, persons responsible for junior-aged athletes and officials are required to meet all Safe Sport standards.  These standards are reviewed annually and
approved unanimously by the Equestrian NS Board of Directors.

We will support and guide officials, coaches and persons responsible for junior athletes at our competitions to meet their safe sport standards. The process may be new to many and we are here to help you.   We hope this infographic can help you determine your role and your safe sport standards requirements.
